Amy Sutnick Plotch Communications helps organizations build awareness, promote change and improve the bottom line through effective communications. With a focus on understanding and addressing the goals of each client, we design and manage both national campaigns and local initiatives. Amy Plotch draws on the expertise of a network of seasoned communications professionals to provide the right approach for every client.

Amy Sutnick Plotch Communications has developed branding programs, national product launches and advocacy campaigns. Amy has worked with dozens of nonprofits to develop communications programs that improve fundraising. Recent clients include the New York Academy of Medicine, Everyday Democracy, and NJSACC, the Network for New Jersey's Afterschool Communities. Amy has also been an adjunct faculty member at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.

Amy's Bio

Amy Sutnick Plotch founded her strategic communications company in 1997. With over 20 years of marketing and communications experience, Amy helps organizations use the most innovative and efficient communication strategies available to achieve their missions. She designs and manages both national campaigns and local initiatives, and is supported by a team of outstanding professionals.

Before starting Amy Sutnick Plotch Communications, Amy served as Director of Communications for Girls Incorporated, a national youth organization. There she created a new external relations department and repositioned Girls Inc. as the organization that inspires girls to be strong, smart and bold. She also conceived and produced the organization's Girls Re-Cast TV Campaign, which generated more than $1,000,000 in new contributions, earned widespread media acclaim and garnered lasting support for Girls Inc. in the television industry.

As public affairs director for the New York City Department of Juvenile Justice, Amy designed a public education program that successfully built support for the construction of new juvenile justice facilities. At Planned Parenthood of New York City, she spearheaded a statewide initiative to expose fake abortion clinics that prompted the State Attorney General to take legal action against them.

Amy lives in metropolitan New York City with her husband, two children and a dog. In her spare time she bikes, reads, cooks, and spends time with family and friends.
